Read the story.

• Mother hen has nine eggs. There are eight brown eggs and one white egg. Eight baby chickens are coming out from the brown eggs. There is no chicken coming out from the white egg.
  
  Mother hen sits on the white egg and waits for a long time…. one hour, two hours, three hours, four hours, and five hours. The egg is cold and hard. Mother hen is sad.
  
  Another hen sees this and says, “You silly hen! That is not an egg. It is a stone!!!!!! No chicken will come out of the stone!” The mother hen laughs, “Che che che che!” She is happy now. She takes all her little chickens to play. All the eight chickens are running after her to the hill.
